Medical Billers and Coders are an essential part of the healthcare team and work to support and maintain the financial health of medical offices and hospitals. This course will teach the students the essential skills required to navigate the medical billing and coding process, interpret medical records, and ensure accurate billing for healthcare services. By the end of this class, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in the field.  In person Tuesday, Aug 4th and  Saturday classes: Aug 22, Sept 19, Oct 17, Nov 14 Location: Poway Adult School  8:30am-12:00pm in Room 401. 

Prerequisite: You must participate in one Information Session or have an individual meeting with Michele Blanchard,
mblanchard@powayusd.com, prior to registration.
