Does your child love Dr. Seuss, science, art, and engineering projects? Then you have found the right camp for them! We will focus on five different beloved Dr. Seuss stories. Each day we will read a story, discuss the science sprinkled within its pages, and then conduct related science experiments or engineering projects. We learn about gravity, animal habitats and nest building, animals in a zoo, visiting the doctor, and how to share kindness with those around us. At the end of each day we'll engage in a drawing activity related to the book. We will practice being great scientists who take notes, make observations, conduct experiments, and present our results. We will culminate the week with a movie, either: The Lorax or Horton Hears a Who - campers vote! This camp is for students entering grades 1-2.
