WaterColor and More Art Lab (Grades 1-2)

In this hands-on fine art class, students will explore the exciting world of watercolor while experimenting with unique techniques like salt textures, plastic wrap effects, wax resist, and ink. Young artists will also create prints using fruits, vegetables, and found objects, explore rubbings, and design imaginative 3D masks and paper mâché boxes to take home. In a positive and encouraging environment, students will build confidence, develop new skills, and discover their own artistic style while working with a variety of materials. This camp is for students entering grades 1-2.
