« back to classes page
Ever find yourself puzzled by chord names like Asus4 or E7#9? Or wondering Or why two chords with identical "shapes" have the different names?

This class is designed for ukulele and guitar players who already have some playing experience and are ready to dig deeper. We’ll explore how the fingerboard is organized, demystify the logic behind chord symbols, and uncover how movable shapes and chord theory connect across the neck. By the end, you’ll have a clearer grasp of how music theory lives on your instrument—and how to use that knowledge creatively.

Prerequisite: Beginning Ukulele or Beginning Guitar
