Medical Billers and Coders are an essential part of the healthcare team and work to support and maintain the financial health of medical offices and hospitals. This course will teach the students the essential skills required to navigate the medical billing and coding process, interpret medical records, and ensure accurate billing for healthcare services. By the end of this class, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in the field. In person Saturday classes: Feb 21, Mar 21, Apr 18 and May 16. Location: Poway Adult School  8:30am-12:00pm in Room 401. In-Person Tues 1/27  6:30-9:30pm.

Prerequisite: You must participate in one Information Session or have an individual meeting with Michele Blanchard,
mblanchard@powayusd.com, prior to registration.
