In this second session, students will shift their focus from writing to editing and publishing. Students will collaborate to edit their stories, design a book cover, develop a name for their anthology, and learn about the publishing process. This second session offers students the opportunity to learn about the power of revising and editing and work as a team to create a high-quality published book. At the end of the week, students will compile their stories together to create their very own writing anthology, which will be self-published and submitted to the Poway public library for circulation. Students will also have a chance to submit their writing to local and national writing competitions. This camp is for children in grades 6-8.
